Journal of Data Mining and Digital Humanities: The first overlay-journal launched by a number of institutions, including Inria

Journal of Data Mining and Digital HumanitiesThe first volume of the overlay-journal, Journal of Data Mining and Digital Humanities, is available online on the Episciences.org platform: http://jdmdh.episciences.org/

What is an overlay-journal? In Greek, epi means “upon”. It is a free, electronic review. The articles in the overlay-journal come from open archives such as HAL and ArXiv. They were chosen by the overlay-journal’s editorial board or submitted to the board by the author(s).

.

The editorial board has nearly 80 experts from universities and research centres across the world, including Laurent Romary (Inria & Humboldt University – Berlin) as co-editor-in-chief.

As the name suggests, the subjects addressed revolve around humanities, social sciences and computer science research, especially in the field of knowledge extraction from data.
