HAL-Inria : viewing statistics

The module of statistics of HAL was improved and is more successful.

It is possible to access the viewing statistics for documents that you have submitted and find out the number of downloads of the documents submitted via “My space/My statistics” .

You can also see which where country/town your files has been accessed.

The statistics and graphical presentations allow you to view:

-the submission of documents which you personally submitted,

-the submission of documents of which you are the author or one of the authors (note: the search is based on the surname and first-name initial in the “auteur” [author] field).

Access: Follow the links : Login / My space / My statistics

If you administrate a collection in Hal, yan can have some statistic for it and its files/deposits.

Follow the links : Login / My space / My privilege / Admin stamp

More details, contact your librarians.

2 Comments:

  1. I often see that the number of downloads per day is very often something like N+small number or 2*N+small number, where N is the number of papers. Please check that the counting is correct and the system does not “download” the papers itself (because of some “checking”). Thank you for your assistance.

    • Hello,
We know today that CCSD (Centre pour la Communication Scientifique Directe) from CNRS will completely rebuilt this feature (statistics on publications); for the Version 3 of HAL.
We will inform users when HAL V3 will be implemented.
